He began his art journey with pencil and paper, where he found his love for details and style as a black and grey artist!

Self taught talent earned him recognition and a pivotal apprenticeship with world-renowned tattoo artist, Boog.

Spending years honing his craft and discovering his ability to connect with others through his art – he found his purpose in creating!

Rooted in his hometown, Markie opened his private tattoo studio, ‘Love INK,’ in 2018, driven by a vision of supporting and growing community.

Years as a business owner allowed him to experience first hand the impact of creating opportunities and connections.

While Markie finds much joy within creating, the genuine connections created through his art remain most rewarding.

Markie believes in creating art that we all understand, and has a bit of a lettering obsession!

He’s exploring the vibrant world of color through his murals, and lettering is still the main focus!

With ancient lettering mastered and his own fresh styles, he can match any vibe you can dream up!
